ABOUT THE ARTIST
ARTIST DESIGNER CREATIVE
Hey! My name is Nicole Hammer, and I am a contemporary artist who loves capturing all things ocean-inspired.
Ever since I was little I always loved to make things. I found it soothing to sit down and let something unfold on a piece of paper before me. Whether it was crayons, colored pencils, finger paint, you name it!
It wasn’t until I found my love for photography that I uncovered the need to repurpose my photos into paintings. Ever since, the places and things I love most have endlessly inspired me to keep painting.
As I got older, I spent more and more time painting. I left for college with a different plan in mind but ended up returning home to study what I truly love. I earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Art (BFA) in 2022 from West Chester University with a concentration in painting, and I’m forever grateful I chose this artistic path for myself. I am based outside of Philly and Avalon, New Jersey!
When I’m not painting, you can either find me reading, spending time with friends & family, or on a beach!
