Frequently Asked Questions
Artist & Brand Questions
-
I’d always been interested in art since I was little and spent most of my free time creating and making things. I remember drawing a fruit bowl in kindergarten art class that my art teacher loved, and from then on I was hooked. Drawing, finger painting, working with clay, sewing, cutting out paper clothes, you name it & I was making it. Drawing was my first love, and I didn’t begin painting until high school. When I picked up that paintbrush on a random rainy Saturday, it felt like I had fallen in love with art all over again.
I went to college with a different plan in mind but returned home to study what I truly love, art. I earned my BFA with a concentration in painting from West Chester University in 2022.

My inspiration comes from my love for the coast all thanks to spending summers on the beaches of Avalon, New Jersey since I was a baby. The untouched beauty that surrounded me every summer was hard not to notice. To paint it is to appreciate it. Quiet inlets, bright beach days, the light just before a sunrise or sunset. I have countless photos from this place and beyond still waiting to be painted.

Artwork & Originals
-
I’m almost always either painting with oil or acrylic paint. As I’ve progressed further into my career, I’ve begun to primarily use oils and leave acrylic paint for base layers and mapping out.
-
I create original coastal landscape paintings inspired by the beauty of the shore. Sunsets, boats, dunes, and the ever-changing light by the sea are all common subject matter in my work. Each piece is painted with high quality oil paints on canvas and meant to evoke the peace and joy of time spent near the ocean.
-
My original work currently does not come framed. It is definitely something I’m looking in to down the road!
-
Keep your painting out of direct sunlight, avoid excessive humidity, and dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. My paintings are sealed with a protective varnish to help preserve their vibrancy.
-
I do my best to accurately photograph and represent my work. That said, colors and saturation may vary slightly due to screen settings or lighting. If you’d like more photos or a short video before purchasing, just reach out!
Prints & Reproductions
-
Yes! I offer limited and open edition fine art prints of select originals. Each print is created using archival inks and paper for beautiful, long-lasting color.
-
A limited edition means I only produce a set number of prints in each size. Each one is signed and numbered by hand. Once the edition sells out, no more will be made in that size!
-
In some cases, yes! Reach out with the size you’re looking for and I’ll let you know if it’s possible based on the image’s dimensions and resolution.
-
Prints are typically sold unframed, but I occasionally offer framed options during special releases or local events. I'm happy to recommend framing styles that complement the work!
Commissions & Custom Work
-
Yes! I love working with collectors to bring their vision to life. Whether you want a piece inspired by a favorite shore memory or have something to decorate a beach house, I’m happy to collaborate. My commissions typically open every spring! If they are closed, it will say so on my commissions page and any information about a waitlist.
-
Once we’ve discussed your vision, size, and reference photo(s), I’ll provide a quote and timeline. A 50% deposit is required to begin, and the balance is due when the painting is complete, in addition to taxes and shipping if applicable. I keep you updated along the way!
-
Absolutely! (and only do!) If you have a favorite beach scene, vacation moment, or something coastal you’ve collected that you’d like turned into a painting, I’m happy to make something truly yours. I work directly from reference images in my creative process.
-
Most commissions are completed within 2-4 weeks, depending on size and my current schedule. If you have a specific deadline in mind (like a birthday or holiday), let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
